The idea for Brunchworks Café was thought up by two highschool sweethearts.
The entrepreneurial duo wanted to translate their love of home-style comfort and fresh food into a local neighborhood joint – where people were treated like guests, not customers. A place where the food was healthy and fresh, not fast and pre-frozen. And they wanted it to all happen in a warm and friendly environment where people could relax and enjoy wholesome meals and fresh-baked goods.
This unique concept, the first of its kind on St. Clair Ave., paired with a rising desire for fresh and wholesome food served up in a friendly and relaxing environment, proved to be a winning combination.
